Work Ethic Records was started in 2013 on the ashes of an old regional label called Ourblock Records. We’re built on a few main Principles.

– Giving Artists a starting place, and helping them to push themselves up.
– Keeping prices reasonable for everyone, tapes will always be 3$, shirts will always be 10 or less.
– Everything we do is completely DIY, all our tapes are hand dubbed, labeled, and inserted, our shirts are all screen printed in house.
– We will judge every work based on merit of art, nothing more and nothing less.
– We will always work as hard for a band as they are willing to work for themselves.

These are the ideas that we’ve found that drive us to do the things we do, and our attempt at making a change in how music is done by being the label we’ve always wanted to work with as bands, and order from as music nerds.
